Street Fighter 6 – New Character Guide Focuses on Jamie

As a breakdancer, Jamie unleashes powerful close-range attacks and gains new moves with the power of some medicinal tea.

With the open beta for Street Fighter 6 coming this weekend, Capcom has released another Character Guide trailer. This time, the focus is on Jamie, a breakdancer who looks up to his cousins, Yun and Yang. As a rival to Luke, he specializes in Drunken Fist techniques, despite his gourd actually having a special medicinal tea.

Jamie is about pushing forward with his attacks, getting up close and personal to deal damage. Upon drinking from his gourd, he gains access to new moves while enhancing the current ones. As his drink level goes up, Jamie’s appearance becomes more disheveled and beast-like. The drink level is also raised through various moves, so players don’t have to give their opponents any openings.

Street Fighter 6 launches on June 2nd for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Jamie is one of eight playable characters during the open beta, available from May 19th to 21st. Head here for more details.
