Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launched in early access today, but a bug caused some players logging in for the first time to have full story completion. The servers went down while Rocksteady performed maintenance to fix the issue. Due to the game’s always-online nature, those who paid for the Deluxe Edition to gain early access were left waiting.

Six hours later, the developer confirms it’s identified the issue affecting player profiles and is “currently testing a fix. We hope to implement it and have the game back online as soon as possible.” It’s worth noting that an offline mode is planned for later this year.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches worldwide on February 2nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It has seen no shortage of mixed responses over the past year due to its live-service nature (with a year of post-launch content planned) or the lack of reviews before launch.

To its credit, Rocksteady has revealed that battle passes won’t expire after seasons end, allowing players to go back and earn any of the cosmetics at their leisure. It also confirmed Story Replay for revisiting campaign missions at higher difficulties for better rewards. Solo players can also enjoy the end game without any issues. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
