Respond to a distress call off the shores of Sunset City.

After teasing some significant story content, Insomniac Games has announced that Sunset Overdrive will be receiving some new DLC in the form of Mooil Rig. Check it out above in all its glory.

Mooil Rig is on the shores of Sunset City where the game’s chaotic outbreak of OD’d has occurred. You’ll receive a distress call from an oil rig and be off to investigate. Expect new travel modes, missions, side-quests, a new community challenge and much more. Considering the hefty amount of content that’s already included with Sunset Overdrive, it’s great to see Insomniac adding even more.

You can expect the Mooil Rig DLC to release on December 23rd for Sunset Overdrive. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Is it one of the better Xbox One releases this year? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more information on the DLC in the coming weeks.
