Super Smash Bros Ultimate - Terry Bogard

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has taken the series to a new place. The series has always been a crossover, but with Ultimate it’s clear the intent is to move the game into a crossover between many classic franchises. Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury will represent SNK, and he could be joining the fight way sooner than expected.

A new event is coming soon called Smash by the Sword, which will be starting at the beginning of next month. It seems some eagle-eyed players saw that part of the copyright includes copyrights for SNK. Spirits have come with copyrights for their representative character’s company before, so some are speculating Terry will stealth drop with them.

For now it’s speculation until something official comes out, but Nintendo did stealth drop both Joker and Hero, so it’s not unheard to do without a lot of announcement. We’ll see come tomorrow, and we’ve still got one more slot in the first Fighter Pass (but it won’t be Goku, so stop asking). Exciting times for Super Smash Bros. fans.
