The weekend events continue in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While last week’s Spirit Board event focused on NES and Famicom Spirits, the coming weekend’s event is much more straightforward. From January 10th to 13th, players can earn double XP and Spirit Points (SP) from Spirit Board battles.

Why is that significant? It helps to level up one’s Spirits quicker, thus letting you take on higher level challenges without tearing your hair out. If there are a few Spirits in your roster that have to be leveled outside of your main bunch, then this is a good opportunity to do so.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been very, very successful for Nintendo since it launched for the Switch in December. On top of selling five million units worldwide in just three days, it was Amazon’s highest selling game for 2018. You can read our review for the game here to find out why it’s so gosh darned fun.
