System Shock 3 Survey Asks for Preferred Platforms, Includes VR

Could the System Shock sequel be heading to VR?

System Shock 3 teaser

Otherside Entertainment surprised us last week with a teaser site for System Shock 3, a follow-up to the classic and much loved series that revolutionized the FPS/RPG genre. The Ultima Ascendant developer didn’t provide much by way of information but this week brings a haunting new audio file and an interesting survey via Survey Monkey to check out.

The survey essentially asks about your preferred system but also asks you to discuss your interest in virtual reality. This of course leads us to believe that Otherside Entertainment could be considering a VR version of System Shock 3 for release.

That being said, it wouldn’t be remiss. System Shock 3 will likely be out on the current gen platforms and PC, and if the reception for Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR is strong enough, it could come to those as well. Would you buy it if it was available for VR though? Let us know in the comments.
