Capcom says it'll have more news to share on Monster Hunter Rise's upcoming expansion soon, in spring of 2022.
Rondine the Trader plays a larger role this time around, battling against a new Fanged Wyvern. The expansion releases in Summer 2022.
Capcom also revealed that the name "Sunbreak" comes from "the game's story, such as the visual of the sun shining down on the world."
Monster Hunter Rise will be releasing for PC in January,, with the expansion, Sunbreak, launching simultaneously on both platforms in the Summer.
Malzeno is the latest Elder Dragon to join the game while "several" monsters from previous titles, like Shogun Ceanataur, are returning.
Capcom's Tokyo Game Show event on September 30 will focus on the recently revealed Monster Hunter Rise expansion.
Capcom promises a "massive amount of content" with the expansion with a new Quest Rank being confirmed along with new monsters and locales.
The expansion will introduce new monsters, brand new locales and new story quests with the latest trailer teasing a new dragon.
