The end is never really the end in Housemarque's new rogue-lite. Here's what you should know before its launch on April 30th.

"With this kind of stuff, we try to make sure it has both a gameplay purpose and narrative purpose," says lead game designer Abebe Tinari.
The base PS5 will cost $100 more, while the PlayStation Portal costs $50. However, the PS5 Pro is increasing by a whopping $150.
Creative director Gregory Louden likens the rogue-lite shooter's projectiles to a "playground" instead of an "obstacle course."
Housemarque's Returnal successor is shaping up to be an excellent rogue-lite third-person shooter ahead of next month's launch.
Unfortunately, however, the project would never see the light of day outside of a recreated cutscenes that was part of the pitch.
Industry analyst Rhys Elliot believes that Marathon has "settled into a respectable rhythm" with its 345,000 daily active users.
One notable example had priced Stellar Blade at a 43 percent discount for one user, while another user got a deeper 70 percent discount.
In a livestream, Jason Blundell and level designer JCbackfire discussed working with Sony before the studio's reported closure.
