Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Announced with November 9 Release Date

The Beyond the Dawn expansion for Tales of Arise seems to pick up after the events of the base game, with a new battle for peace on the horizon.

Bandai Namco has announced a new expansion for Tales of Arise, titled Beyond the Dawn. Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is slated for release on November 9. The expansion was revealed with a new trailer during PlayStation’s State of Play. Check it out below.

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn seems to pick up some time after the events of the base game. The expansion seems to revolve around Dahna and Rehna once more, and a new fight to keep peace in the world.

Word of an expansion for Tales of Arise first came up back in December last year when Bandai Namco was found to have filed a trademark for Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn. Interestingly, the expansion’s announcement seems to be in direct conflict with Tales of Arise producer Yusuke Tomiwaza, who stated last year that the game wouldn’t get a direct follow-up or an expansion.

Tales of Arise has been quite successful since its release. Last year, the game was reported to have sold more than 2 million copies. The number has quite likely gone up since then.

Tales of Arise is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
