Developer Roar Games has unveiled its title – Tenet of the Spark – with a trailer during Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2025. The trailer, which you can check out below, shows off the title’s unique premise of allowing the player to switch between three different eras in the middle of combat: modern day, Viking age, and Aztec world.
According to the game’s description on Steam, Tenet of the Spark will be a redemption story where the player will get to face off against enemies from across different timelines. Primarily focusing on the modern day story of Will, the story will revolve around him making use of the abilities of Viking and Aztec warriors.
The combat in Tenet of the Spark will also allow players to make heavy use of the environment around them, with players being able to push around objects in the different eras to affect the overall outcome of the fight.
Tenet of the Spark doesn’t yet have a release date. It is coming to PC on Steam and Epic Games Store.
