Following a delay, Teyon’s Terminator: Resistance Enhanced is slated to release exclusively for PS5 later this month. PS4 owners will receive a free upgrade for the PS5 version but it may be available later. The developer revealed that “some additional work” is needed from Sony to ensure the upgrades occur smoothly.
Currently, there’s a “strong” possibility that the PS4 to PS5 upgrade option won’t be available when Terminator: Resistance Enhanced launches. Instead, the upgrade option should follow “a short time later.” Teyon noted that it’s doing everything it can to ready the upgrade and make it available for players “as soon as possible.” Stay tuned for more details and updates on that front in the coming weeks.
Terminator: Resistance Enhanced releases on April 30th for PS5 with the game currently available for Xbox One and PC along with PS4. The Enhanced version includes the Infiltrator DLC where players control a Terminator that must hunt the Resistance along with running in 4K/60 FPS. Faster loading times and DualSense controller support is also included.
