The wait for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown has dragged on far longer than most would have anticipated, and even now, after multiple delays, a release date for the open world racer remains elusive. Publisher Nacon and developer KT Racing, however, are seemingly teasing an important imminent announcement.

Over on the game’s official website, Nacon is teasing a “special” announcement for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Specifically, the page is counting down to an announcement on May 30 at 1 AM Pacific / 4 AM Eastern. In the lead-up to the announcement, Nacon says it will also allow players to enter a series of five “missions”, though it’s unclear what exactly that entails.

Either way, with the publisher having said earlier in the year that Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown would be out by April, even though that obviously did not happen, the hope is that a new release date for the game will be unveiled soon.

Whenever it launches, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
