Enhance’s Tetris Effect was an unexpectedly great release in 2018, one that combined a surreal visual style with excellent music and gameplay. If you haven’t picked it up and missed out on the first limited time demo, then it will be returning this weekend. Demo availability begins later today and will remain live until February 11th for PS4.

Since this is a demo, you can experience three levels from Journey Mode (the de facto “story” mode). Additional modes, called “Effect” Modes, include Marathon and Mystery. The former allows for longer play sessions, while the latter features unorthodox objectives. If you like what you see in this demo, then consider picking up the full game for 25 percent off.

There’s a lot more to enjoy in the full game, with Journey mode having 27 levels, and roughly 10 Effect Modes. Tetris Effect also supports VR gameplay with Sony’s PlayStation VR headset. Check out GamingBolt’s official review for our thoughts on the experience.
