#34. GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS
As the big daddy of the open world genre, Grand Theft Auto games usually come with a certain set of expectations, and there is a huge segment of the series’ fanbase that no game has ever lived up to those expectations as well as San Andreas did. Of the many, many things people love about it is its world, which is not only an excellent sandbox to wreak havoc in, but also startlingly large. At 33 km2, San Andreas was, for its time, positively mammoth.
