Experiment 101’s Biomutant had been on people’s radars for quite a long time, and though it didn’t quite live up to expectations, there’s no denying that its world, at least, had a lot going for it. Leveraging the game’s unique spin on a post-apocalypse, Biomutant let players loose in a bright, colourful, overgrown open world, and in spite of the uneven nature of the entire experience as a whole, that world itself definitely left a lasting impression.
