Sure, these are three open worlds instead of one, so we’re technically cheating here- but we couldn’t not mention these. GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has its fair share of issues that we can go on and on about, but the inherent quality of those three maps is undeniable. Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas are the blueprints that open world games have been following for two decades (hell, GTA 3 pretty much created that blueprint), and all three of those remain timeless classics to this day.
