The Crew 2 might not be the best or biggest game out there, but four years on from its launch, Ubisoft’s open world racer still has a decently sized and dedicated player base, with developer Ivory Tower also sprinkling in updates here and there to keep players coming back. Soon, there will be another little reason to bring players back.

Ubisoft recently announced that as part of its Year 5 updates for The Crew 2, several quality of life changes will be coming to the game. This will include handling modifications to various vehicles starting March 22, with “regular updates category by category”. By July, visually, you can expect modifications to weather and colour grading. Most significantly, however, The Crew 2 will also see a performance boost, running at 60 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X. There’s no word yet on something is planned for Xbox Series S as well.

The Crew 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Recent leaks have suggested that the next instalment in the racing series will be called The Crew: Orlando– read more on that through here.
