The Dark Pictures Anthology - House of Ashes

Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco’s anthology series of horror adventure games is going strong, and soon it will be seeing the release of its third instalment. Ahead of its release, Bandai Namco showed off a new trailer for House of Ashes in the Gamescom Opening Night Live Pre-show. Check it out below.

Set in the Zagros Mountains in Iraq, the game sees opposing forces in a conflict being caught in an underground network and forced to work with each other as they face the threat of an ancient evil lurking in the shadows. The trailer hints at some pretty intense narrative turns, with tension amongst the human characters and the ever-growing threat of whatever they are trapped with and being hunted by.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is launching on October 22 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates from Gamescom Opening Night Live.
