Fntastic’s The Day Before has had a wild ride over the past week. Originally slated to release in March with a gameplay reveal set for late January, it faced a delay to November due to a trademark dispute. Besides the reveal’s delay, it didn’t help that the developer was already planning a delay before the dispute emerged.
However, as it turns out, a gameplay showcase is coming today. According to a moderator on The Day Before Discord (discovered by Jworn10 on Reddit), the developer will showcase a “10-minute gameplay extravaganza” on YouTube. “Tune in tomorrow, for an experience like no other. Trust us, this is one reveal you won’t want to miss!”
What makes this strange is that there’s no mention of the showcase on the game’s official Twitter or YouTube channel. It may or may not happen for whatever reason. Fingers crossed.
The Day Before is releasing on November 10th for PC and is also in development for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Its last trailer showcased Nvidia DLSS 3 and ray tracing in action – you can check it out here. Stay tuned for more details on the purported gameplay in the meantime.
