Along with Witchfire and Atomic Heart, The Day Before appeared at Nvidia’s Special Address for CES 2023. The new gameplay trailer offered another look at the survival MMO’s RTX support, namely the ray-traced reflections with RTX Global Illumination and ambient occlusion. Though previously confirmed to support Nvidia DLSS, The Day Before can also use DLSS 3.

As for the gameplay, it’s pretty much what we’ve already seen. Following a pandemic, the United States is in ruins and players must do whatever is necessary to survive. Scavenging for food, resources, and weapons is important, especially when fighting against those infected. Since this is an MMO, other players occasionally crop up, for better or worse.

The Day Before was to release in June 2022 but faced a delay to March 1st and a shift to Unreal Engine 5. It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming weeks.
