The Division 2 Dark Zone

The Dark Zone has always been a fundamental part of Ubisoft Massive’s The Division. However, The Division 2 takes it even further, implementing three different Dark Zones across Washington D.C. and some more systems to encourage going Rogue. As the latest trailer showcases, your resolve within the DZ will be tested.

The Dark Zones function a bit differently this time around. On top of having their own stories (like the deadly yellow chemical used to fight the Green Poison virus in one district), two of the Dark Zones have all stats normalized for players. However, in the Occupied Dark Zone, players’ gear will have an impact on their survival, and there will be tougher enemies to face as well. On the bright side, you can expect better rewards.

Rogues who like living on the edge can also partake of the Thieves’ Den, which contains rewards and allows for clearing one’s Rogue status. The Division 2 will be releasing on March 15th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but the open beta takes place from March 1st to 4th. You can currently pre-load it right now and check out Dark Zone East for yourself.
