The Division 2 - Season 9 Hidden Alliance

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 has finally received its newest season, bringing some new content to the cover-based looter shooter. Season 9: Hidden Alliance sees players taking on a new target in Captain Lewis along with battling four True Sons members. Check out the overview trailer for more details.

The biggest highlight of Season 9 is Countdown, a co-op mode where two teams of four players each must stabilize a power plant in 15 minutes. Each starts in different locations, working their way through together while battling some “familiar foes” and eventually extracting. Also, starting on May 12th, players can use the new Expertise system to upgrade damage, armor and skill values on their equipment.

This can be done using various items (with more variety resulting in increased values). On top of this is the new Heartbreaker gear set, some new named items, Exotics and more. If you purchase the Season 9 Pass, then additional rewards can also be unlocked.

Those wanting to get into The Division 2 can partake in the free weekend which runs from May 13th to 15th on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Google Stadia, Ubisoft+, Amazon Luna and PC via Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store.
