The Division 2 Title Update 10 PTS Now Live, Offers Weapon Buffs and Better Rewards

The first phase improves Legendary Difficulty rewards and increases Exotic drop sources.

Ubisoft Massive has seen some ups and downs with The Division 2, especially with the recent launch of Warlords of New York. The upcoming Title Update 10 is currently live on the Public Test Server for PC players and will focus on some of the more pressing matters for players. These include quality of loot rewards, weapon buffs and more.

The overall focus is on “game health and generosity”. Nearly all weapons have been buffs, gear sets have been improved and some changes – like no purple loot at higher difficulties – are aimed at rewarding end-game players. Legendary Difficulty will also be changing with the developer adding increased loot drop changes from Veteran and Elite enemies.

As for Exotics, the number of unique sources they can drop from is being increased. Players will be able to get them from Heroic/Legendary final bosses, Exotic Cashes, Targeted Loot areas and Raid bosses. This is only the first phase of the PTS so we’ll have to wait and see how subsequent phases pan out. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
