Ubisoft Massive’s first paid expansion for The Division 2 is now live. Warlords of New York travels back to Manhattan as players resume the hunt for Aaron Keener that began in the first game. Keener is armed with a deadly virus and has four Warlords in control of the city. Naturally, you need to take them down as well.

Warlords of New York adds a number of main story missions which introduced former First Wave agents turned rogues to fight. New armor and weapons, and new abilities are also available to unlock (including the return of the Sticky Grenade Launcher). The SHD System has been introduced to allow for endless progression and Legendary Difficulty is back for some missions.

Along with the expansion, a new title update is also live which revamps loot and progression. It’s now easier to tell which options are better for one’s gear, though the overall quantity of loot has been nerfed to buff its quality. Warlords of New York is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, with a Stadia release coming soon.
