The Division 2’s Technical Alpha Launches This Week

If you signed up for the beta, and play on PC, it’s time to check your mailbox.

If you’re excited to play Ubisoft Massive’s The Division 2, a technical alpha for the game kicks off this week. If you were among the players who signed up for the game’s beta, check your inboxes, because you will have received the invite for the technical alpha as well.

The technical alpha is only for the PC version of the game, and starts at December 15 on 8am ET, running through to December 18, 8am ET. The alpha will be heavily NDA’d, so it is unlikely information from it will leak, unless someone is foolish enough to actually risk legal repercussions.

The good news is the private beta for the game, which is open for anyone who pre-ordered the game, and which you can also sign up for here, will be held shortly as well, ahead of the game’s launch in March- so even if you didn’t get this invite, or don’t play on PC, don’t worry. You can still get a chance to play the game ahead of its launch. If you are interested in the game, make sure to check out our report that details more information about it, from skills and variants to weapons and much more.
