The Division

Plenty of new information was revealed last night about Conflict or update 1.2 for Tom Clancy’s The Division that drops on May 24th.

The new Dark Zone bracket was already discussed. It will cater to players with a Gear Score of +200. Along with containing only High End Division Tech, Supply Drops will provide High End items and a chance for a piece of the 8 Gear Seats. A DZ stash will also be provided at each checkpoint so no more back and forth to the BoO.

As for hijacking extractions, there are a few more conditions imposed on players. Once the rope has been cut, anyone can pick up the loot that drops. It won’t drop in a pile either – it will be spread out everywhere. Massive also noted that if you’re cutting the rope, it will take longer to do so if you’re being shot. Heck, take enough damage constantly and the rope won’t be cut. There will be tracking on feedback for this feature so it could be ironed out further in the coming weeks.

Sealed Caches are another new feature, dropping from all NPCs but High End Sealed Caches are only dropped from Named NPCs. These will contain High End Division Tech, DZ Funds, Weapons/Mods and even Gear Set items. These will need to be extracted though and unfortunately, you won’t know what’s in them until you’ve extracted and then opened them.

As for the breakdown on which areas will provide which loot, including possible items to be gained from the Search and Destroy and High Value Target missions, you can head here.
