Tom Clancy’s The Division will be receiving a significant overhaul in October with update 1.4. This will add World Tiers, rebalance enemy health and damage, and also change the way loot drops throughout the experience.

Ubisoft Massive has noted that this won’t be everything the update will offer. It seems as though it will also correct the micro-freezing issues that have been plaguing Xbox One players for many months. Community developer Yannick Banchereau noted on Twitch that the freezes were a result of client side issues and will be fixed in update 1.4.

This is good news – even with all the changes, if players can’t get the optimal performance from the game, then all the gameplay changes in the world won’t make a difference.

The PTS server for the PC version of Tom Clancy’s The Division is also slated to go live this week but Massive hasn’t confirmed the same. Stay tuned for more information on the same and let us know whether you’ll be back on The Division this October.
