Tom Clancy’s The Division has finished maintenance for the week (probably) and deployed a hotfix to address the missing dailies. However, in the subsequent State of the Game address, Ubisoft Massive revealed that patch 1.2 is current in testing. There’s no release date yet but it shared a number of new details.

Patch 1.2 intends to be “generous” with its loot, especially given the dismal drops following patch 1.1 High-End drop quality will be improved with all activities offering increased rewards. Along with revamping PvE, the biggest new addition will be a new Dark Zone bracket for those with 200+ Gear Score. Along with the “best quality of loot” including 240 Gear Set drops and 204 items, Massive will be increasing the chances for weapon drops and decreasing mod drop rates. You’ll also only find High-End Division tech in this bracket though enemies will range from level 32 to 34. Supply drops will also be improved though it remains to be seen how. Incursions will also apparently drop more loot.

Finally, along with bug fixes for talents like Reckless and One is None, the patch will look at buffering weaker items as opposed to nerfing stronger weapons. You can check out the full patch details here for more information but expect more comprehensive notes in the coming weeks.
