The Division Receiving New DZ Districts, New PvE Content in Update 1.6

New Incursion also en route.

Ubisoft Massive’s The Division will receive some new content in the coming months thanks to the Last Stand expansion and update 1.6.

Though update 1.6 has no release date, it will be out at the same time as Last Stand. The PTS for both is still up in the air but they will be available across all platforms at the same. During the State of the Game, the developer also announced new Dark Zone districts 7 to 9 that would be available free in update 1.6.

Those who aren’t interested in the PvP combat that Last Stand is offering can take heart – there will be new information on PvE content tomorrow. For the time being, a new Incursion will be on the way as well. Gear Score won’t be increased for the foreseeable future though.

Finally, along with addressing solo queuing players in the Dark Zone and how the PTS will test solo players not being in the same session as grouped players (or having the ability to group up), it seems the Alpha Bridge gear set will be receiving a nerf. It will still be pretty powerful though so take that for what you will.
