The Division Update 1.8

After extensive on-going testing with its Public Test Server, Ubisoft Massive has announced that update 1.8 for Tom Clancy’s The Division is currently planned to release in early December. It also noted that the next Global Event, which is usually the ticket to obtaining Classified Gear Sets, would begin several days after update 1.8 released.

The developer also noted in its recent State of the Game that the update was taking longer to release since it was fairly large and required more tuning compared to previous updates. In the meantime, there will be a special event this weekend which grants double the rewards for High Value Target missions. The event starts on Novemebr 17th, 12:01 AM UTC and ends on November 20th, 12:01 AM UTC.

The Division’s update 1.8 aka Resistance will bring quite a bit of new content to the game including the new Resistance mode, a Horde-mode style activity with scaling rewards; alerts and numerous missions to take up; and some new areas to explore.
