The Division Year 2 Content Includes Loadouts, Seasons, Feats and More

Find out what The Division has in store in 2017.

During its special report yesterday, Ubisoft Massive discussed more about the free expansions coming to Tom Clancy’s The Division. Most of the information was surrounding the first expansion and unfortunately, it doesn’t seem there will be any level increase, new areas and what have you.

What you can expect are Loadouts, a new tab in an Agent’s menu where they can save gear loadouts, weapon loadouts, skills and talents into one preset. There are six slots available and this essentially allows you to switch between builds at any given time rather than tediously switching one piece after another right now.

Then there are Seasons which are timed events surrounding a number of different activities but with varying modifiers. One example given was a CQC modifier which allows you to do more damage up close, thus leading to more build variety. Season rewards will be exclusive and include things like a new Vanity slot. Further details weren’t given but there will be rewards for participating, completion and ranking high in the leaderboards.

Finally, there are Feats, specific challenges over a long period of time (like hitting X number of weak points on enemies) to unlock patches and other distinguishing marks on one’s clothing. Even better, any Feats you’ve already done will be retroactively completed.

The first expansion is slated to arrive in Summer and will be free. What are your thoughts on it? Let us know below.
