The Division

The latest Global Event “Onslaught” is now live in Tom Clancy’s The Division. It will be available until May 31st, 9 AM UTC so you have a good ten days or so to farm the heck out of it.

Global Events in The Division add modifiers to all activities, spicing up the gameplay while also bringing additional challenges and goals to work towards. Onslaught sees Burn, Bleed and Gas effects being added to normal bullet damage with reloading changing the status effect deal.

Savage Onslaught adds enemies resistant to one damage type and vulnerable to another (with the former dealing more damage). Brutal Onslaught grants a damage bonus to all team members for one clip if two or more group members kill a vulnerable enemy within two seconds.

Along with Classified Gear Sets like FireCrest, LoneStar, Predator’s Mark and Reclaimer to work towards, players can also earn a new range of masks and patches. The playlist for the Global Event includes the following missions:

  • Warren Gate Power Plant
  • Police Academy
  • Broadway Emporium
  • Russian Consulate
  • Stolen Signal (Incursion)
