The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition Update Adds Steam Deck, Ultrawide Support, New Creations Menu

The update seems to indicate that Bethesda might give paid mods another shot with the new Creations menu in Skyrim.

Developer Bethesda Game Studios is trying its hand at bringing paid mods to The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim once more with its latest update. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition now has a new unified Creations Menu housing both mods as well as items from the Creation Club.

The new Creations menu now let’s players take a more hands-on approach to their game mods, including allowing players to set their load orders, as well as the ability to resolve missing Creations when loading a saved game from a modded playthrough.

Other features of the update are support for the Steam Deck, as well as support for ultrawide monitors on the PC, allowing for displays with 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, and 32:9 aspect ratio displays.

The update also brings with it a host of bug fixes, ranging from small bugs to more serious game-breaking bugs like a crash that could occur when fighting Dwarven Ballista.
