The Expanse - A Telltale Series

Telltale Games, Alcon Interactive and Deck Nine Games shared a new developer presentation for The Expanse: A Telltale Series and confirmed that Episode 1 would launch this Summer. Based on the Amazon TV show, it follows Camina Drummer and the Artemis in their journeys through space.

For its story, the developers wanted to focus on crew interaction, space travel and Zero G. There are plenty of occasions where the characters’ perspectives clash. However, as time passes, you’ll learn more about their backgrounds and what they’ve been through.

The gameplay is very choice-oriented, with consequences for many actions. As outlined in the last extended gameplay trailer, you can choose to save a crewmate whose leg is trapped in a vault. Sacrificing the limb results in obtaining hefty supplies but could affect crew morale.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
