The Expanse - A Telltale Series

The Expanse: A Telltale Series sees the release of its first episode this Summer. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but Telltale Games and Deck Nine Games will reveal new gameplay at the 22nd Annual Tribeca Festival from June 7th to 18th.

It also appears adjacent to the Digital Tribeca Festival Game Showcase on June 9th. The development team will also have an in-person panel on June 10th at 4:30 PM ET. Ticket holders can also go hands-on with it during the event.

Game director Stephan Frost said, “We are thrilled to be a Tribeca Official Selection. The Expanse is an exceptional work of fiction, and we at Deck Nine feel honored to have contributed to this universe in the video game medium.”

Telltale CEO Jamie Ottilie added, “From the very start of development, our focus for The Expanse has been on the quality of the narrative and the opportunity to tell an incredible story filled with amazing characters that the player can participate in. Being named a Tribeca Festival Official Selection is the ultimate endorsement that we are on the right path, and we are honored to be included.”

The Expanse: A Telltale Series is based on the popular sci-fi series with Camina Drummer as the protagonist. It sees the Artemis exploring the belt, facing off against hostile forces like pirates and making tough choices. The last gameplay presentation saw players choosing between salvaging supplies or saving an ally’s leg.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
