The Last of Us 2 New Poster Revealed

A new dynamic theme based on the reveal trailer has also been revealed.

The Last of Us Part 2 still does not have a release date- in spite of that, it remains one of the most hugely anticipated upcoming games for now. Fans have not had much to work with, except for one teaser trailer that we saw at PSX last year (where it was announced), and some wild speculation and theories- but today, Naughty Dog shared a brand new poster for the title. And it looks extremely ominous.

The poster was shared to commemorate The Last of Us‘ Outbreak Day, which was when the infection reached critical mass in the game. “As a follow-up to last year’s poster, we’ve once again teamed up with artist Kevin Tong and Mondo to create an all-new The Last of Us-inspired poster”, Scott Lowe, Naughty Dog’s Senior Communications Manager, said on the official PS Blog and on Naughty Dog’s blog. “To ensure everyone has a chance to buy one, Mondo is making the Outbreak Day 2017 poster a timed-edition release. Beginning today at 10:00am PT until Friday, September 29 at 10:00am PT, anyone can pick one up via MondoTees.com without fear of it selling out, but after that, it’s gone. Don’t miss it!”

That’s not all, either- a brand new dynamic theme for the PS4, based on the reveal trailer for the game, is also coming up- and you can check out a short video showing that off below for yourself. The Last of Us fans will undoubtedly want to get their hands on this one. The theme is going to be free, and it is due to hit the PlayStation Store at some point in the future.

The Last of Us Part 2 is set to hit the PlayStation 4 exclusively. As of right now, it has no release date- but we can probably assume that it won’t be out until 2019 at the earliest.
