The Last of Us Development Series Video Explores “Death and Choices”

Wasteland beautiful, survival immediate.

Naughty Dog has released a new development series video for its upcoming action adventure/survival game The Last of Us, which looks at the scavenging elements of the game. Given how just about anything in this game has a chance to kill you, the video also explores the difficult choices one must make to survive in post-apocalyptic America.

The Last of Us follows Joel and Ellie as they make their way across the landscape, which is now home to everything from savages and black market dealers to police-state military and Infected. As of now, the purpose for this trip is unknown but Ellie is a definite key factor in it.

The Last of Us is currently slated to release on June 14th for the PlayStation 3. Check out our preview to learn more about the game’s stealth elements and aiming, along with its presentation and overall gameplay style. And yes, it really is that good (though not without its kinks).
