The Last Of Us Part 2 – Game Director Teases A Possible New Character

The dog can be seen wearing a motion capture suit.

It’s still a mystery whether The Last of Us Part 2 will be out this year or later in 2019. What we do know that the game is still a long way off from nearing completion and there are still a lot of things to fix in the game. However, it’s evident that Naughty Dog is still hard at work on the game and director Neil Druckmann recently tweeted out a picture of a dog who may feature in the game as a character.

In the picture, we see the dog wearing a motion capture suit and this makes it likely that it is going to feature in the game. It remains to be seen what role this dog will play in the game, whether it will be an ally or an enemy. More games nowadays feature companion animals like dogs as we’ve seen in Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, so this is a possibility as well in the case of The Last of Us 2.

It’s certainly nice to see Naughty Dog and their dog hard at work for The Last of Us Part 2. The game is currently in development for the PS4 and PS4 Pro.
