The Last of Us Part 2_12

Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 has been delayed again due to “logistic issues” stemming from the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. But on the bright side, some new screenshots have been released, showcasing the game’s gorgeous visuals. Check them out below.

From Joel playing the guitar – and generally looking disgruntled – to Ellie traversing a number of environments via horseback, the action adventure title certainly looks stunning. Some other interesting details include Ellie seemingly reuniting with Tommy (Joel’s brother). Overall, the attention to detail is quite palpable.

The Last of Us Part 2 was slated to release in May but has now been postponed definitely. Naughty Dog noted that development is more or less finished and it’s currently working to polish the game. This isn’t the first game to be delayed due to developers working remotely – Wasteland 3 and Minecraft Dungeons have similarly been pushed back. As always, stay tuned for more updates on a new release date.
