The Last of Us – Part 2 is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated games of the coming months. Looking at the batch of titles that are due out within the next 12 months, that’s saying a lot- but also, looking at Naughty Dog’s track record (and at The Last of Us itself), it’s not hard to see why.
Fans have been anticipating its release for a long time now, and actor Troy Baker, who plays Joel in the series, recently poured fuel on that flame of hype when he called the upcoming sequel “the most ambitious game Naughty Dog has ever done.” But that’s not all he said. Speaking at a panel at Manchester Comic-Con (via Reddit), Baker spoke about the game a bit more- and his verdict? We’re not ready for what’s coming.
“There is nothing about this game, nor the reveals, that hasn’t been one hundred per cent carefully crafted and methodically curated,” said Baker. “All I can tell you is that as much as you’re clamouring for it, you’re not ready.”
There’s no release date set in stone for The Last of Us Part 2 yet, but rumours (and then even more rumours) have pegged the game for a release in February 2020. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
