#believe or something.

Naughty Dog has been fairly secretive on whether The Last of Us: Remastered for PS4 will actually hit 60 FPS. The developer has expressed its desire continuously to hit the frame rate – and possibly go beyond the same – but we haven’t had any solid confirmation.

However, over on Twitter, Naughty Dog designer Kurt Margenau said that he, “Played some #TLOU at 60 fps tonight for the first time (60fps cutscenes and all). Transformitive [sic]. I’m a believer. Don’t think I can go back.”

Co-director Bruce Straley also chimed in by saying that he “had a dream in 60fps last night. #TLOUremastered.” Neil Druckmann replied and said, “What if I told you that was no dream? #believe.”

So yes, Naughty Dog has trespassed beyond teasing and is in full Twilight Zone mode.

All kidding aside, this is pretty much all the confirmation one needs that The Last of Us: Remastered will be at 60 FPS. Will it be locked though? We’ll find out when it releases on July 29th.
