The Legend of Heroes - Kuro no Kiseki 2 - Crimson Sin -

The next title in Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes series has been announced and it’s a follow-up to Kuro no Kiseki. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN- is in development for PS4 and PS5 with a Fall 2022 release date for Japan. Many of the same mechanics from its predecessor like the choice between field and command battles, the LGC Alignment system and more will carry over.

The story sees an incident occurring in Edith City involving the brutal massacre of the CID’s special operations squad. While the Bracer Guild and Calvard officials investigate, protagonist Van Arkride also looks into the matter, determining the culprit and their motives. Agnes’ involvement is also unknown though it seems that both are embarking down a dark path.

How long it will take to localize the title remains to be seen especially since The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Reverie, the Western release of last year’s Hajimari no Kiseki, is due in 2023 for PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
