Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 is now available in the West for PS4, localized by NIS America. The launch trailer sees Rean Schwarzer, familiar to players from the previous games, becoming an instructor. What trials await Class VII of Thors Branch Campus? Check out the trailer below.

If you’ve played the previous entries in the series, Trails of Cold Steel 3 will be familiar ground. You’re essentially catching up with previous characters while also investigating a potential new threat. Battles are still turn-based but you can now map commands to certain buttons, thus reducing some of the time spent going through menus. As a whole, battles should be quicker as well.

Check out GamingBolt’s official review for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 here. The question now is: When can we expect the fourth game, the end of the saga, to be localized? Time will tell, but hopefully Trails of Cold Steel 3 is ported over to Steam in the meantime.
