Nintendo has released a new update for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Ver. 1.1.1 doesn’t have much by way of patch notes – it addresses “several issues” to improve “the gameplay experience.”

However, it also addresses an issue with the main quest, “The Closed Door.” Some players found that even when fulfilling the required conditions, they couldn’t finish it. Those who faced this issue can download the update and progress normally.

Stay tuned for more patches and updates in the meantime. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch and is a sequel to 2017’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It introduces various new abilities like Ultrahand, Fuse and Ascend while heavily revamping Hyrule and adding new quests, activities and areas to explore.

Thus far, it’s sold ten million copies in just three days and received near-universal acclaim from critics. Check out our official review, where we gave it a perfect ten, for more details.
