The Lion's Song

The next free game at the Epic Games Store has been revealed. It’s The Lion’s Song, developed and published Mi’pu’mi Games. Currently, the free game is Pine, “an open-world action adventure game set in a simulated world in which humans never reached the top of the food chain.” Pine is free on the Epic Games Store until May 13th, at which point The Lion’s Song will replace it. The Lion’s Song will be free until May 20th.

The Lion’s Song is “a narrative adventure game. It is steeped in early 20th century history and focuses on a cast of Austrian artists and scientists with each episode taking a closer look at their intimate struggles with creativity and inspiration.”

Each episode of The Lion’s Song will follow a different character. Characters include “a talented composer suffering from writer’s block before her breakthrough concert, an up-and-coming painter growing through his challenges & a brilliant mathematician trying to make her voice heard in a men’s world.” The choices players make will determine whether or not the characters accomplish their goals.
