There are a lot of titles that will be alongside the next generation consoles when they launch next week of both the cross-gen and next gen-only variety. One of those is The Pathless, a dreamlike action game that looks to drop you in a world with no map to battle creatures as a dark corrupting force sweeps the land. It’s also looking to have a solid soundtrack as well.
A new video was posted showing off the sounds of the title as well as its recording. Austin Wintory will be doing the music, who was also a Composer for Journey. If you played that game, this music and its feel has a similar vibe with a bit more kick I would say. There’s also bits and pieces of some gameplay shattered throughout out.
The Pathless will release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and Apple Arcade on November 12th. The game will also feature a few different graphical options on the PS5, which you can read more about through here.
