The Pathless

A number of new details on The Pathless, including some new gameplay footage, have been revealed by Giant Squid including how the PS5’s DualSense will work with the game. Creative director and co-founder Matt Nava told IGN that the controller’s haptic feedback would tie into the archery, which can be used to increase one’s momentum by hitting red markers located throughout the world.

Timing these shots will result in more momentum. However, the DualSense will provide feedback on the best time to fire, which helps in figuring out the right timing on the go. It was also confirmed that along with running at 60 FPS on a lower resolution (which the game defaults to), the PS5 version would support 4K/30 FPS mode.

The Pathless is out on November 12th for PS4, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. It will also be available on Apple Arcade. Check out the new gameplay trailer below as well, which showcases how the Hunter’s eagle companion can help out by carrying items and whatnot.
