Deck13’s The Surge 2 is looking to make good on the potential of its predecessor, which was a solid enough game, but came with its fair share of issues. Recently, a number of people got to go hands-on with the game to see how successfully it’s doing that, and the round of previews gave off generally positive impressions.
To give us a rundown of that positive pre-release reception and to generate more excitement and hype surrounding The Surge 2 in the build up to its launch, publishers Focus Home Interactive have put out a previews accolades trailer, highlighting some of the praise the game recently got. We got to go hands-on with the game as well, and in our preview, we said that The Surge 2 is “shaping up to be a solid take on the genre”. Read the full preview through here.
The Surge 2 is out on September 24th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A second beta test for the game is currently underway, so we should be hearing more about it not long from now. In the meantime, check out the game’s opening 16 minutes through here.
