The Witcher 3 Day One Patch to Improve Frame Rate, “Overall Performance”

Texture pop-in issues to also be addressed in the upcoming day one patch.

Following concerns of early reviews criticizing the frame rate of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PlayStation 4, CD Projekt RED promised that the game’s day one patch would be better “once we officially launch the game” according to community manager Marcin Momot on Twitter.

Momot also noted that, “It will be automatically available when the game officially releases.” But that’s not all. A CD Projekt RED representative told GameSpot that the patch would be out on all platforms and that it would offer “overall performance improvements including fixing texture pop-in issues.

A new teaser for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has also been released called “A Night to Remember” with the full trailer coming out today. Watch it and get even more hyped for the game’s release on May 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
