Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone

CD Projekt RED recently announced the release date for Hearts of Stone, the first major expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt along with a new teaser trailer and screenshots.

It will be out on October 13th and along with revealing some new details about the expansion’s main story, the Runeword system and a hint of the trials Geralt will face, CD Projekt RED also announced a limited edition physical retail copy for Hearts of Stone that includes Gwent decks and card sets.

Those who want to buy the digital version and don’t want to invest in the Expansion Pass can rest easy – Hearts of Stone is available as a standalone purchase. In fact, if you head to GOG now, you’ll be able to avail of a 15 percent discount off the $9.99 asking price, bringing it down to $8.49. That’s not a bad deal for an expansion that delivers more than 10 hours of content.

Will you be picking up Hearts of Stone when it releases this October? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
